4k Milestone

 I got my goal today. With my 10 miler, I passed 4000 miles for the year. I think that this is nearly 300 more miles than I ran last year. When I think about it, this is like running an entire extra month. 

I remember when running 4k for the year was my norm but those days are long gone. If it wasn't for this being a different year, I would not have even sniffed this many miles.

Of course the best part about it, I have spent quite a lot of those miles on the trails. That's the part; I really enjoyed.
