Run Run Rudolph 5k

 I ran this race a couple of years ago. I didn't recall there being so many people run it. However, two years later, 1300+ people showed up for this race. I was out for my warmup run and was heading back to the starting area; with just 15 minutes before the start, I was in awe of so many people still waiting in line to park. I wondered if they would even make it to the start in time. They did delay the start by a few minutes. I wasn't a huge fan of this. The temperature was hovering around 30 degrees. I like it when thinks go off on time. 

Plenty of people took it our hard from the start. My legs, not sure if it was from the cold or my age, just didn't want to turn over. We finally hit the long climb going up to Prosperity Church Rd. I, then, started to feel better. I started to pass a few other runners. I hit the downhill section really hard. A lot of guys were paying the price for the hot start. I passed several runners through the race. 

I finished in 19:34 to win my age group and 9th overall 

I loved the hoodie not that I need another one. I have too many as it is, but I actually wear this one.
