Chased by a Cougar Video

 I watched this video for the first time today. Click here to see the full video.  When the cougar charges at him, the hair the back of my neck stood up. That's scary to watch. 

I have had my fair share of dog encounters but I have never had one with a cougar. Maintaining eye contact, backing up and moving out of their territory has always worked for me. Watching this video tells me that I have been doing the right thing. But I will admit that it is hard to fight the instincts to turn and run.
