Soaking up yesterday's trail run
I was about four and half miles in to my trail run when I popped out in to a clearing. A cool breeze was blowing while that yellow disk shined down from above. Along with a near perfect day, humidity was low and pollen was nearly absence from air. I could not ask for a better day to be cruising along on the trails.
Then, the thought occurred to me. I had better enjoy this day.
For the next several months, I will likely have anything but cool, low humidity days. Sweat and heat will rule my runs for a while.
That's okay. With one, I would not enjoy the other so much.
