Charlotte Summer Track wk #1

I got the opportunity to volunteer some time at the Charlotte Summer Track meet last night. It was good to see familiar faces and see some awesome runners making circles around the Myers Park track. 

I harken back to my days when I was running every event on Tuesday night. I left the High School tired and bit sore but with that warm feeling that I left it all on the track. Of course, this may have just been the fact that it was like 90 degrees. Still, it was something; I really enjoyed. 

There are 4 more events. Each is on a Tuesday night at Myers Park High School over the month of June. The first event starts at 6:30. 

Definitely check it out if you have some free time in your schedule.
